I started this blog January 2011 when I moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Lexington, Kentucky to begin graduate school. I had just gotten a new DSLR Nikon D3100 over Thanksgiving break, but I knew nothing about photography. I wanted to have a motivation for learning more about photography, hence, From Horses to Photography was born. The mission here is to share my experience and travels in a new city, my ever-improving photography skills, and my passion for food. Thank you for reading!
