Beer Cheese Festival

It has been hot.

I mean H O T, like 93 everyday for the past three weeks.

One of my favorite things in summer is going to various festivals and fairs. Italian Festival, World Largest Brat Fest, Summer Fest, County Fairs, State Fairs. You name it and I will be there.

Today we went to Winchester, Kentucky for Beer Cheese Festival. Not beer AND cheese festival. Either way, it's a festival so I am there. We paid for wristbands to try 10 different beer cheeses with crackers/ pretzels/ saltines.  It was another hot day and huge crowd at the festival. I must have too much sun, beer cheese, and Ale 8-One that I only took a few pictures throughout the day.

Well, here is what really happened:

At first I was intrigued by the historical buildings in downtown Winchester.

Then came the crowd and long lines for beer cheese samples.

But I got pretty excited when I got my hands full of beer cheese sample that I snapped this out-of-focus picture.

Yumm beer cheese.

Then we chased down with some Ale 8 One.

And then more crowd...

...and more beer cheese

 ...and more Ale 8 One.

Followed by some Southern style pulled pork BBQ.

Sweat had already drenched my shirt and my nose was getting sun-bunt.

I was ready to rob this snow cone cart.

Now you see why I did not take  many pictures?
